I've had my XPad for about 2 years. It isn't fancy, but it is reasonably thin and allows me to comfortably use my Macbook Pro on my lap. Usually feels just like I have a book on my lap. Occasionally, it may feel a little warm, but not uncomfortably. Helps keep computer cooler too, so fan turns on less often. Highly recommended!Digital camera Review: Can't use my laptop without it

Actually cooler running. Pad works perfectly as described. Non-slip corner pads, even when using at an angle. Computer is much cooler than when left on a flat surface. It is cooler, not cool, so it will still heat a bit, but not nearly as hot as without this pad. I often use my laptop while in bed watching tv, so even while lying, this pad is perfect.Digital camera Review: Cool product really works!

I've been using this product for several years with my old Dell laptop. The laptop really puts out heat. Before getting the X-pad I could not work with the laptop on my lap. The X-pad lets the air circulate under the laptop so now the laptop never overheats. And neither do I! The heat moves out with the air instead of into my legs. It is so comfortable to use, durable and lightweight, too. I wouldn't dream of using my laptop without it. I love my X-pad!Digital camera Review: Cooler? Maybe...

My laptop still heats up a lot; the pad didn't seem to work that much... It's ridiculous how much my laptop heats up in the first place, but a slight disappointment that it doesn't work like other people said it does.
