Digital camera reviews of Xtremehd 4-PORT HDmi SwitcherDigital camera Review: DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY Summary: 1 Stars
I ordered one of these from a seller on here. The item was brand new. I plugged everything in and went to turn it on and it would not turn on. Returned the item and got a refund as that seller would not replace an item. Then bought another one from a different seller. SAME problem would not turn on. Both of these were brand new. I called the manufacturer tech support and they said it was a bad unit. Don't go thinking I am someone who doesn't know how to use electronics either. I have tons of electronics in my home set up in ways that would give most people a headache to try and figure out. This item is junk. I will try my luck with a more expensive name brand.
Digital camera Review: Did Not Work Summary: 1 Stars
I just received this from Amazon and it does not work. I have been on hold with the customer service number for over 30 minutes, no answer, even thought I am 2nd in queue and according to machine my wait time is less than 2 minutes. So far this product is horrible!
Digital camera Review: Did not Deliver! Summary: 2 Stars
Bought this off of Amazon which in the past has served me well. I bought the ExtremHD to hook up my PS3 and X-box360 Elite through the one HDMI input my older TV has.
The images ended up being degraded and/or pixelated.
As far as I'm concerned this kind of product should work right out of the box and it did'nt.
The other rip off that happend to me was that I paid about $120 for this junk and now it's price is half of that. Probable because of reviews like this one!
Digital camera Review: Didn't pass PS3 through in 1080P Summary: 2 Stars
The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because it looks decent and worked with things under 1080p.
I plugged in my PS3 into every input port in the back and the TV would not recognize is in 1080p. The only time I could pass through the signal is if I set the PS3 to pass through in 1080i.
Just to make sure, I plugged the PS3 directly into the same HDMI port on the TV as I was plugging the switcher into, and it would recognize the signal in 1080p, so I know it's not the TV. Plus, I just got a new Samsung PN58A650.
Anyway, I called XTremeMac support and they told me that recently there have been problems with the TV recognizing the switcher between the items you are plugging into it and the TV, so that is causing the problem. I don't know why that would cause the problem, but I guess the switcher should be unrecognizable to the TV according to them, and it doesn't do that in the latest batch of these switchers.

Good luck to everyone.
Digital camera Review: Disappointed at Product Quality & Support policies Summary: 1 Stars
First one I purchased... D.O.A. Bought a replacement, D.O.A. Poor product quality/checking. Also, to make things worse, it is very hard to speak to anyone in charge at the company. PLUS, they consider D.O.A. same as warranty support, so YOU pay for return Shipping - $9.00 and up - USPS... not quite a bargain. Called Customer support, asked to speak with management to ensure that I was getting product from a reputable dealer, and to ask about product quality. Simply requested a call back. Instead, received an email from their customer support (remote some where in the world...) RESTATING their policy that I have to pay for shipping on D.O.A. units. Better to find a product the manufacturer is behind, and willing to support the client on. So... this added almost $10 to each purchase price, and after 2 bad units, I still have nothing, but I'm out almost $20. So much for an easy connection of my Mac Mini to my TV. Atleast when I received a bad keyboard, the company had the decency to pay for return shipping on that D.O.A. product. Who knows... maybe I should complain to my delivery company, because the XtremeHD folks only say... pay for returns, and try your luck with another one.
