Digital camera Review: Does not work with 8925 Tilt

When I plugged this in, everything worked great for about 2 minutes, and then my phone started going crazy. It started dialing the last number dialed and would continue to repeatedly dial until I unplugged the darn thing. This was true no matter whether I plugged it into the AUX jack in my truck or whether I plugged it into external speakers.Digital camera Review: Does not work with ATT Tilt and WM6.1

When plugged in, it automatically activates voice command and starts dialing phone. Disabling Voice Command in phone and un-checking all voice command options doesn't work either; as soon as I plug the dongle in Voice Command is automatically turned back on (!!!!) and the phone tries to dial out.
This is on an ATT Tilt (HTC 8925) and Windows Mobile 6.1. Your mileage may vary on other phones and operating systems.

I've been using this little simple device for months and just updated to the newest 3.35 ROM on the Sprint Mogul and this device no longer works. Rather annoyed because I use it to connect to my AUX jack in my car. I tried it out with some headphones as well to make sure. If you don't want to update to the newest ROM, then its great though and works as advertised.
The earbuds/mic combo that come with the Mogul still work as weell btw, its just this 3.5mm jack. Very annoyed. Grrr! I'm not going to choose this over GPS and Rev A data speed methinks, but how am I going ot listen to tunes in my car now?

This works great with my T-Mobile G1. I am able to charge it and listen to headphones at the same time, which is exactly what I needed. I don't notice any kind of sound issues, like you get with similar products.
