1st, I thought it was great that I received this sooner than stated.
2nd, it works!!! I have a t-mobile g1 and an AUX port in my car. the adapter fits nice and flush with the phone, and works perfect through the speakers of my car!
I've seen similar products that are 15 dollars or more AND they have cable slack (which I didn't want)
all-in-all, if you are a g1 owner looking to hook your phone to your Axillary jack, then this is for you!

I ordered this because I wanted something that allowed me to use my phone as a mp3 player in my car and still charge it, and this has not disappointed. I was amazed at how fast it shipped to my house (day after) and was eager to try it out. It works as advertised and can't beat the price. The only issue I have with this is when having to use the phone as it has been stated you have to unplug it to be able to be heard. As another reviewer mentioned using your bluetooth headset will avoid this problem which is useful in the car but when I use it as a"walk around" mp3 player, I don't bother using a bluetooth and just unplug it when making a call. Other than that which I consider forgivable I have no issues with this product, it works great on my ATT Tilt Windows 6.1.Digital camera Review: Poorly made

I have had the device for about a month. It worked pretty well. It basically does what it says. You can plug earphones and charge the phone at the same time. Very comfortable to use the phone to DJ. Although at some point it stopped working. The phone also goes automatically in shuffle mode. It is easy to understand what happen. The metal pins got bent in the adapter. Clearly some poor engineering choice. It is bound to happen since you need to plug and unplug the converter all the time. Made me lose a lot of time. I really hate that my phone, the G1, does not have its own 3.5mm jack (or come with a proper converter).
Hopefully the next android device will be made by people that actually use the phone.

I was so excited to receive this 2-in-one adapter, but there is an AWFUL bug with this device when used with a T-Mobile G1. Plugging it in makes the music-player jump into "party shuffle" mode, skipping from song to song every 5 to 10 seconds or so. Don't buy this device!Digital camera Review: Simple, works well

Sound quality is very good, connections secure, works very well.
Only small issue is with the way it's designed you may not be able to fully seat it if you have a thick(leather type) case on your phone.
