Digital camera reviews of Zeiss Ikon Standard 50mm f/1.4 Planar T* ZF.2 Series Manual Focus Lens for the Nikon F (AI-S) Bayonet SLR System.Digital camera Review: Absolutly worth it!!!; Pure quality. Summary: 5 StarsI'm an amateur when it comes about photography. However, I've always wanted to take this as more than just a hobby. Therefore, I recently decided to buy a Nikon D90 (body only) and this Zeiss Lens at amazon.
First, let me tell you that as soon as you take this lenses out of the box you can tell by it's weight and look that this are really high quality lenses.
It was very easy to fit them into the camera, and stayed solidly locked there.
After playing around a bit with this lenses, I tell you: You'll be amazed about the performance, the quality of the images and the colors.
Besides, this lenses have a CPU that fits the electronics of the Nikon D90 (ZF1 don't have this), which allows to take advantadge of some automated features of the camera.
I don't know if I can upload pics here to show you. However, an URL where you can see the first pics I took with this Zeiss is as follows:[...]
There you can make an idea of what you'll buy.
Hope to have helped.
