Digital camera Review: Amazing Antenna!

I tried an old generic rabbit ear antenna but could only get 2 digital channels with it so I decided to get an RCA amplified antenna expecting better performance. Well it was worse!! I was disappointed and was about to return my nice expensive Samsung SIRt160 tuner but decided to give ZHDTV1 a try based on other people's reviews. The difference was amazing!! I can get every digital channel (8 in total) in my area (chicago high rise facing west) except CBS (which is broadcast in VHF and this antenna is only a UHF ). I tried an amplified rabbit ear type antenna that was supposed to pick up HD channels, but it didn't do anything. I bought this one because of the great reviews I read here and it sounded very easy to hook up and use. IT CERTAINLY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I attached it, went through the auto channel set up of my tv and it found 14 digital channels - more local channels than I thought we had. I didn't have to do any aiming although I think I did have it in the direction of our towers (19 miles away) and the reception and picture is amazing. I had high hopes for this antenna because of the great reviews and I was not disappointed. I live in Pacifica, CA and I'm able to receive all the digital channels in the area. Two channels (20 and 44) require repositioning the antenna a little bit. It is a little bit big and not very aesthetic, but it works great. I have it sitting on the floor behind my entertainment rack and I can still get all the stations (except 20 and 44). For those in the San Francisco area, this is the best antenna (you can even get NBC 11 which is broadcast on one of it's Telemundo sister station's channels, 48.2).
If you get bad off the air analog reception, you can still get great digital reception with this antenna.

I have to say that the other reviews are dead on. I live about 25 miles west of Philadelphia. After trying a both the Terk indoor HDTVi and the Terk satellite clip on antennas, I was only able to pick up a few digital stations with a signal strenth ranging in between 15-35% even with an 6db amp installed on the indoor Terk. I couldn't even get a lock on Fox, PBS, or any of the smaller stations.
Last night I received the Gemini. The installation was simple. It only took a minute to assemble and the results are amazing. The Gemini with the same 6db amp picked up every digital station in the area including all the major and minor networks. It also picked up the extra two substations that the local ABC broadcasts. I now have signal strengths ranging in between 55-90%.
It's a great little antenna.

I'm about 40 Miles from the Sutro Tower, which houses all of the HDTV Signals in the Bay Area, I am able to recive CBS, ABC, UPN, FOX, And PBS In HDTV.. I Recive about another dozen od Digital Signals. I'm in Petaluma which is north of the Tower and I must say im suprized i get any signal at all let alone what I have got.
