Digital camera Review: Broken screen not covered under warranty

My son purchased an 80 GB Zune a little over 2 months ago. He treats the thing like it is a baby, but the screen cracked for no apparent reason.It was never dropped and never hit. Only the internal screen is cracked. There is no damage to the outer screen or to anything on the outside of the Zune. Microsoft adamently does not cover the screen for ANY reason. Gawd, what a POS!
The first one was DOA.Took it back-the volume controls(?) made static noise on the new one-The next one worked for 2 weeks then just died-MS you have billions how can you create such cheap cr*p? Are they assembled by chimps in China?
I was annoyed by my iPods ergonomics, but that is heaven compared to this junk
Also kind of embarrassing when people one after another remark "You have a WHAT?-Whats a Zoon?-Never heard of 'em"

I had a 30G Creative Zen and loved it! But I ran out of memory and decided to find a reasonably price replacement. I searched and finally found the 80G Zune. I love the screen and how lightweight the Zune is. However, there are some flaws. First the sound quality is ok but jnothing compared to my creative zen. Also it was a little tricky to set up and the battery life is short lived. Since the price I purchased it for was reasonable, I don't mind the trade-off for the memory, but if I had to pay full price, I may have been upset.Digital camera Review: Disappointed by Microsoft Strictness

Tried to install. Doesn't work on a Mac OSX. At all.
Then tried on an old Windows XP, but the software wanted a lot of updates, which some did not take well. Software still wouldn't install.
Without Microsoft's specific software, no music could be listened to.
Overall, this is rather restrictive. Seems the Zune is just an accessory to your Windows Vista.

Ive had mine for a month, it was grreat at first, now it deleted all of my 3000 songs i had on it, it will only add 400 back and it says error every time i try to sync it. ive had a 8gb before and the play and back button would freeze all the time. it may be my luck, or maybe zunes just suck. i never had this many problems with my ipod although i had some on occation, non to this extent
