Digital camera reviews of Zune 80 GB Digital Media Player (Red)Digital camera Review: Love it. Summary: 4 Stars
Much better than the 1st generation that I had. More hard disk space, look and feel are better, at pretty much the same price. However, there are two anodynes I need from Microsoft for my pain points.
1st pain point: Foreign language pack still not available. There is a hack out there, but I was hesitant to try because this hack requires admin priv of my machine and there is nothing that'd guarantee me that the language hack was the only hacking code packaged in the provided .exe. And also thanks to MS, after upgrading to Vista Premium, my Virtual PC stopped working so I cannot attempt this hack on my Virtual PC slice.
2nd pain point: Not being able to create custom favorite/play lists for my videos. And the video fast forward is not user friendly.

I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday! He loves it and uses it everyday!
Digital camera Review: Love this player Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this after my Creative Zen Vision M was stolen. I've had it about 4 months now and I can't say enough good things about it. It was easy to set up, easy to transfer music to and has great sound and video quality. Syncing up music downloads and videos is also very easy. The capacity is great. I have tons of music and lots of episodes of "House" on it. I had to stop playing the episodes of House in the car though -- the sound is so good we keep looking for the source of the sirens that are often in background of the show!
Digital camera Review: Man o man Summary: 2 Stars
HATE IT! The only thing it was good for was storing music. Other than that it was useless. It took me about 5 hours to download the software from the site. Then once connected I didn't know that if I deleted the music off of the computer it will also delete the music I uploaded on the player (sync feature). Also since I have a huge collection it is hard to use this because I have to scroll to whatever song, album, or artist I wanted, and this would take a long time. Another big peeve was that the touch pad didn't work correctly. I would click on a song to play and it would take me somewhere I didn't want to be or I would try to change a song and it would display the menu where you can go to the artist or view song list. The good things about the player was its headphones (I loved them because the sound is really crisp), the radio being able to display the song title and artist (sometimes it didn't work), and that it came in red.
Digital camera Review: My Wife Loves It!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Bought the Zune for my wife for her birthday back in August. She burnned all of her CD's and now keeps them on her Zune. She loves having her music all in one place.
My only complaint is that there should he a setting to turn the headphone jack into a line level out. This would significantly improve the clarity of playback when using the headphone jack to provide input to a hoime stereo system.
