I use my Zune at work and enjoy having the upright dock that allows me to view the screen easily. My coworkers tease me because I use the remote at a distance of 5" from the Zune. What they don't understand is that it is almost impossible to push the buttons on the Zune while it's in the dock without sliding it backwards on my desk.
When I received my kit, the remote would not work. After lengthy inspection, I resorted to replacing the battery. As soon as I put the battery in, the Zune went crazy. Apparently, one of the buttons was stuck down, which explains the dead battery. After a couple of whacks, the remote worked again (for a while). The next morning, the battery was dead again.
Expecting the worst, I reluctantly called Microsoft Zune customer service and was pleasantly surprised. They promptly sent me a replacement remote, albeit with a scratch on it. The remote works great and the scratch does not bother me.
One really nice feature of this kit is that the cable between the "wall wart" and the base is a standard Zune USB connectivity cable. So now I have two. Very handy.

Solid design delivers as one would expect. Easy to set up and logically laid out.
Hopefully the first of many "coordinated" toys for the Zune.
To date, the only negative I have (which is somewhat counterintuitive) is that the docking station is such a perfect fit, you must remove any cover from the Zune prior to docking. This is only a problem if you have purchased a hard shell that is not made to be put on/taken off frequently.
Digital camera Review: Doesn't fit new generation Zune

I bought this with my new Zune 120 gig player. It doesn't fit and it doesn't work. First, the adapter plug in the stand is set to the back of the slot and the new generation Zune player's receiver end is at the front of the player, so it only fits and charges if you put it in backwards. This kind of defeats the purpose of the remote access, etc.. since you can't see what's playing. Second, my remote never worked at all.
I'm very disappointed in this product (though my Zune is great so far), and I wish that Amazon had some kind of comment in the Home A/V Pack page indicating that it doesn't fit new generation players - and that they didn't have the misleading "buy together and save" stuff.
Digital camera Review: Especially good if you like podcasts

This has been a great addition to my Zune, especially since the recent software upgrade which allows the wireless connection to be used to sync with the Zune software on the PC.
It's particularly useful for the many podcasts and vodcasts I subscribe to. Because it's always on (thanks to the AC charger) and always syncing, any new podcasts are automatically downloaded so when I hit the road I can just grab it and go. Being able to play vodcasts back on my TV is also very useful especially for those items my wife is also interested in.
