This makes using your Zune with your Stereo or TV simple. I also like the fact that while I am listening it is charging for the next time I want to take it on the go. The remote control is a nice feature as well, but with a small screen you can't be to far from the Zune when using the remote. You do have the option with the Zune to change the display to your TV screen making it easier to use the remote from across the room. I just received my Home AV pack in the mail, and have it set up with my 120GB Zune (using the 80GB template) on an HDTV using component cables. Being the type to figure things out and toss aside instructions, I initially had trouble getting the dock to work because I forgot to change the Zune to TV Out mode in Settings. Now that I've got it working, I must say I am quite impressed. I bought this product on special for $18, so the initial selling points for me were the price and the fact this is an older version now that the HD dock is out; I figured they may be trying to liquidate their stock to make way for the newer one. However, the sound quality seems to be as good as I expected, and even better if I turn on the home audio system. Video quality seems to vary, depending on the encoding used on the file. Really, the biggest issue I have had is with the remote; it is this alone that I deducted a star for. It seems it is extremely particular where it wants to work, and I usually end up clicking around a bit to get the Zune to respond. That point aside, this was an excellent bargain and I would recommend this product for anyone with one of the older Zunes.Digital camera Review: Excellent product

I wish it cost less, but with the lack of third party products for the Zune v2 so far, it was what I needed (I have the Zune 80). The remote control is excellent. The video out is excellent. It has componenet video out also, but since my receiver is full of component cables already I haven't tried it and don't plan too since the regular video is quite excellent (I'm running it through a Denon 3803 receiver to my 50" Toshiba HD TV).Digital camera Review: Excellent, must have accessory

I absolutely love this docking station. I have a large number of movies on my Zune and this allows me to easily play them on almost any television. Also great for playing music through whatever stereo or speakers and using the remote.Digital camera Review: Fantastic Deal!

This item is on closeout everywhere for less than $10. Considering it cost $100 new, it's an excellent deal. I got mine last night from an Amazon marketplace seller, and I love it. The remote didn't work out of the box, but after I changed the battery, everything was fine. I now have my Zune 80 connected to my stereo!
