Digital camera Review: A Premium Fit

For people like myself who can't wear earbuds without them popping out or hurting badly, earphones like these are a godsend. I've never been able to get a proper fit on anything that doesn't go over the ear or over the head with a band, I've been trying to find something compact and tight-fitting for a long time, and when I bought my Zune from Dell these were on the recommended accessories list, so I thought why not? They came in a nice little carrying case that is nearly impossible to put back in the exact same way, but still helpful in storing the earphones properly. The earphones themselves are pretty attractive, with a semi-translucent rubber/plastic casing and bright silver accenting rings. In the end of each earphone is a magnet used to pin the earphones together when not in use, this also helps them to tangle less often, and let me say that it works very well. The earphones come with 3 sizes of replaceable inserts, I've found the small size to be the most comfortable and capable of staying in my ear. When fully inserted, the premium earphones have excellent sound blocking capabilities, and are quite a good fit for me. You can also back them out of your ear slightly and hear the world around you, but they'll still stay in pretty well. Sound-wise, the premium earphones are pretty decent. I'm not much of an audiophile, so I am not very well-equipped to critique, but all I know is that I've noticed a lot more depth and range in my songs than I do on my cheapo $15 over-the-ear headphones on my computer. It's practically like listening to all-new music, at times. I have no actual complaints about these earphones, but I'm holding off on the 5 stars because I know they don't have the greatest sound clarity in the world. For the price, they're pretty good though.
