Digital camera reviews of Zune Premium Earphones

Digital camera Review: Good sound qualtity, but...
Summary: 2 Stars

The Good:
Great Sound Quality

The bad:
Uncomfortable
broke easily

I got these headphones as part of the Zune travel pack. The sound quality on these headphones is far superior the generic earbuds that shipper with my zune. The inner-ear setup of these headphones is very uncomfortable. The earbuds would not stay in my ears, and when i could force them in the pressure created by the head phones gave me a head ache. Now, three days after purchase the left ear bud has broken and i have decided to retire these earbuds and purchase high end headphones.

Would not purchase again.

Digital camera Review: Good sound, bad earpiece
Summary: 5 Stars

The earphones have a good sound quality but they drop out of my ear no matter the size of the earpiece. After two days I was going for a refund, but I decided to give them one more chance, so I changed the zune earpiece for the sony ones (sony ear-bud). Now they fit very well in my ears, very comfortable with great sound. I have a meizu mp3 player that sounds amazing with these earphones.

Digital camera Review: Good sound, but some flaws, and not long-term durable
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought these earlier this year because though i loved the ones that came with my 30 GB Zune, i got a tragus ear piercing and the large ear phones annoyed me and made that side of my ear ache as it pressed against the earrings. I was satisfied with them, though I didn't think they were AS good as the sound in the premium ones that come with my Zune, but they were good for the price and i hadn't considered getting new ones after....until recently that is.

The bad points however are the following:

-Sometimes when i wanted to hear more bass on certain songs, i'd have to press them a little hard into my ears, which was annoying. Also, just a little moisture in the ear makes them start to slip out a little.

-After a long while the buds would start to make my ear canal hurt because of the design. I have small ears, but the buds simply AREN'T soft enough, and are in fact harder compared to the likes of buds from Skullcandy or Shure. The design of it and how it presses against the speaker make it uncomfortable sometimes.

-DON'T wrap it around the MP3 or leave it hanging around or jumbled up in a purse ect. anywhere because it can get damaged quickly. Like i said, i bought mines earlier this year and used it consistently, almost everyday, and my pair just stopped working 2 days ago, which means my pair lasted roughly 5-6 MONTHS! Only one ear bud speaker works now. And i only more or less would put it in my purse, in a drawer, or on the shelf. And if i had to wrap it, i'd wrap it VERY loosely around my Zune. But alas, it still broke.

In the end, if you still wanna take the risk despite these setbacks, you are welcomed, but i recommend the V2 Zune Premium ear buds better as they seem much more durable, or just another brand altogether.

Digital camera Review: Good sound, poor earpiece
Summary: 3 Stars

I have had these for a few weeks and love the sound they reproduce, but I don't care for the piece itself. The shape of the earpiece does not fit correctly in the ear and therefore consistently falls out. Luckily I bought them for $4.99 and not the full retail. Maybe people with siphon shaped ear canals will have a better fit with this. (LOL).

Digital camera Review: Good sound, poor quality
Summary: 2 Stars

These headphones come with a pretty nifty carrying case, but they're wrapped so tightly you won't ever get the kinks out of the cord. The sound is excellent, with strong punchy bass, but you have to shove them all the way into your ear canal to be able to hear it, which means they're usually covered with earwax. Gross.

The biggest problem is, I bought them, used them for two weeks, then the left one stopped working. They weren't damaged or strained in any way. Just poorly built.
