I didn't get the Zune travel pack with the idea that it would be for daily use. I think someone called it a shaving kit. That's pretty close. It's not big, but not something you would just toss in your purse. It's obvious that it wasn't specifically designed for the Zune HD as the device pocket is a little big. But I got a little case for daily use and that fits snuggly in the Zune pocket. The earphones with it are pretty decent. It includes the extra sync cable, the remote cable, a wall plug coverter, and the case itself. If you are looking for a box-like case, to keep all your Zune cables and extras all in one place, and make it convenient to travel with, look no further. I was moving to a new air force base and we were going to be on an airplane for 14 hours. The gear bag gave me a place to keep my Zune along with it earphones and charger. This was nice because it fit into my carry one lugguage with no problem. It made it easy to get to. I love the headphones. The remote was nice because I could share the zune with my husband. Overall, this was a great buy for an even better price. The ear phones do a good job of blocking out other noise, even on an airplane, and are MUCH more comfortable than the standard ones that come with the Zune player. Use of the splitter does significantly use more power, however. Good thing it comes with an AC adapter. The whole kit is great to have on hand. The AC adapter charges much faster than the sync cable. I've heard it can crack screens due to heat build up but I haven't notced any heat at all on mine. Barely warm. I often turn on the wireless on my Zune and sync it with my pc while it's charging from the adapter. It may be me but it seems to sync faster this way too. The space on the side is large enough for many other things you want to pack. The earbuds are some of the best you can find. The phone splitter/remote is awesome. If you decide to pass on this travel pack I still highly recommend it. It does however drain the battery FAST.
