This pack is great for taking your Zune on road trips; however I wouldn't recommend it for day-to-day transport as it is very bulky. In addition, my daughter doesn't care for the ear buds that come with this kit so I may end up getting her Bose or Shure earbuds instead. Digital camera Review: Some useful tools, but pricey

Great little sack of gadgets for the guy or gal on the go. I use mine all the time when crashing in motels here and there with my work.
I would not be too concerned about new or used as there is nothing much that could go wrong with these gadgets. I purchased mine used and it works great.

The headphones are good, but not great. The charger is just a USB charger with the Zune logo on it. The extra cable is only there so you have something to plug into the USB charger, and the headphone splitter/remote is really only useful if you're planning to share your traveling Zune experience with a 2nd person. And if this is a Travel Pack, why is there no car charger included?
The real draw of this kit is how all of these accessories work along with the case. The case is compartmentalized, so all Zune-branded products fit snugly into predefined niches which keeps everything from rattling around. You can purchase non-branded versions of all these accessories for a lot less money, but if you're really hung up on organization, this is probably the way you want to go.

The well designed padded case and durable materials are evident in this package right from the start. The case includes a handy semi rigid divider to keep cables and the AC adapter (metal prongs) separate from the Zune's forte, its portable screen. I use my Zune as a portable music player and a conversation piece for photo slide shows.
It's also nice to know that I can upload some favorite movies to watch if I have down time while on the road. Having all of my gear together in one place gives piece of mind that nothing was left behind and I can charge or connect to standard av equipment as needed when traveling.
