My laptop's Wifi carrd began to fail and I purchased this USB device and it turned out to be better than I expected. I quickly finds the signal and connect me right away. The WiFi finder is a great tool since I do not need to turn on my laptop to find out if there is a hot spot and which are free. I have also used it in Puerto Rico and found may Wifi spots and I can connect even with a weak signal. I would recommend it.
