Digital camera reviews of ZyXEL X-550 Xtrememimo 802.11G MIMO Wireless Broadband RouterDigital camera Review: Got it Today Summary: 5 Stars
I got it today, followed the set up instructions and it works great. It works! This was a replacement for my Linksys Wireless G Router which died on me a few days ago. The ZyXel is much more easier to set up than the Linksys. The Key is also very easy reconfigure to your own setting.
Digital camera Review: Great Product Summary: 5 Stars
The router works great, easy to install and my network was up and running in no time. I run it 24/7 and haven't had any problems with it whatsoever.
Digital camera Review: Great & EZ Summary: 5 Stars
Very easy to set up even for a dummy like me who has no clue what end goes where non the less what some of the terms mean. Customer service answered without me even being put on hold & was helpful and friendly (just don't say to them that it's "Chinese" to you, they don't seem like that). Works perfectly without any problems. Highly recommended!!
Digital camera Review: Great Customer Service for New Wireless User Summary: 5 Stars
I've never had a wireless network, nor a laptop. I bought an HP laptop and the Zyxel router and had no idea how to install it. I called HP customer service, who was awful with the unworkable, "automated" phone trees and their overseas language barrier. I then called Zyxel, spoke with someone in the states, and they walked me through baby step by baby step through the setup process. Ended up I had a problem with my new HP wireless card, and the Zyxel rep was more helpful than the HP rep to resolve the issue. Everything has been working like a charm for the past 2 weeks.
Digital camera Review: Great Install Software-Great coverage Summary: 5 Stars
I tried to install a Linksys router and it wouldn't "save" my configuration data. I was afraid a previous wireless router install was getting in the way, even tho' that 'network' was disabled, etc. The Zyxel install 'found' a (phantom) router on my system and asked if I wanted to install the Zyxel instead. I clicked on 'yes' and it cleaned up all the remaining 'garbage' info that XP hadn't gotten rid of from the old wireless network. Plus, the signal strength is very good. The configuration of the router was easy... I always enter the MAC addresses that I allow to access the router. I have used Netgear, D-Link and Link-Sys...I'll stick with this one.
