Digital camera Review: Blue Tooth Keyboard is as promised

I just made my first trip without a laptop for email. I used my Blackberry and it made a big difference. Not dragging a PC along with all the rest of the junk along was a great relief, especially at the airport.
Now, about the keyboard...
This little keyboard did just fine for the longer messages that you sometimes have to write. The twisted installation manual was next to worthless as it refered you to an online site that required a passord that didn't work until I emailed the company to email the password to me. The answer came faster than I expected. I copied the password from the email, even though it was the same as indicated in the manual (which didn't work)and now it did...Computers are more magic than science to me.
Other then the on/off switch being hard to push with your finger nail, the rest is a snap.
Worth the extra bucks just to have around when you really need a little more speed in getting email out, Stowaway sure beats using the itsy bitsy Blackberry keys

Now it works, great, but the CD driver that came with the kit refused to work - hence we had to down load one off the internet
A very internet savvy collegaue of mine not impressed with the trouble it took to get the keyboard and my IPAQ 6910 to 'handshake'
It works now, but if you are a layman in these matters, you may find it a nightmare

Never would I write a review of anything: I don't have the time. But if you just get totally ripped off by a company who nonchalantly responds ". . .this item has been discontinued, we don't support it anymore. . ." when it was JUST purchased off of Amazon. Not only did iGo not give a D about selling someone a product that didn't work, AND was no longer supported. . the customer service was basically: "Tough." Stay away from this and all iGo products: the actual physical equipment that you see before you in these pictures could be made as a high school metal shop project. buyer beware!Digital camera Review: Buyer Beware

I purchased this keyboard because of a business trip. It was for the Blackberry 7290, and it does not work with this model. It would be nice to see some more specifics on what models it supports; especially since it says it supports Blackberry right in the title. Customer service was not great either. I asked about receiving a refund for shipping in addition, and never got a straight answer. Feel free to take your chance, but, personally I would rather buy it somewhere else like I did and pay a few extra dollars.

THE IGO STOWAWAY IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE BLACKBERRY STORM 2. AFTER CALLING THE COMPANY'S TECHNICAL SERVICE DEPT AND FINALLY CONVINCING THEM AFTER A TWO HOUR PHONE CALL THEY AGREED TO TAKE THE STOWAWAY BACK, BUT WOULD CHARGE US A RESTOCKING FEE, BUT GUESS WHAT, IT GETS BETTER, THEY WENT OUT OF BUSINESS! I'VE NEVER HAD TO RETURN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE TO AMAZON AND I'M HOPING THEY STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL.
