I bought this speaker system at the beginning of 2008 because I was looking for an affordable speaker/dock for my iPod for my kitchen/living room area. What's great about this product is that it's fairly inexpensive (Amazon is a lot cheaper than the stores I've seen it in) and produces a pretty good sound. Granted, it certainly doesn't perform as well as Bose or other high end systems, but I didn't expect such a good sound for such a reasonable price. Also, it's pretty small so it doesn't take up too much counterspace and is easily portable. The remote is a nice touch as well. So if you're looking for an iPod speaker system that has a nice sound and doesn't break the bank, this may be for you.Digital camera Review: Awesome SOUND and Fantastic DEAL A+++

I just got this home today and I am blown away. I currently have the standard iHome and a nano ipod. I wanted this for my classic ipod that is on the way. The sound is fantastic. If I didn't know better I would think it was Bose. I love the remote you don't have to touch the ipod. Cool backlit controls too. I do not know what the other person got maybe a defective one but mine is great. I highly recommend it. Charges the ipod and can work on batteries or AC. Cannot believe the deal either. The regular iHome was $99 and it is good. But $29.99 WOW!
Don't wait a minute longer this is a great deal. :)

I have another more expensive unit also from iHome. I was constantly moving it around to the kitchen while cooking or to the yard for BBQs. When I saw this in Gold Box for twenty bucks I snagged it, just to have a second unit that I could permanently leave in the bedroom. It works well and definitely serves its purpose. It's not the most phenomenal sound, but it's pretty darn good. It definitely sounds alot better than one should expect for the price paid. If you're looking for amazing sound quality, this may not be the unit for you. But, if you're looking for bang-for-buck, and intend to use it to casually listen to music, this system is perfect.Digital camera Review: Awesome little speaker!!!

This is the best Ipod speaker I have ever had! Their better than Bose.Dont Listen to the firt guy.It has base and treble controls so thats why he said it was muffeled.I know that guy and hes just plain out THEASE THEY ROCK!!!!!
