Digital camera Review: Awesome sound out of this tiny speaker!

Exactly what I was looking for to play music from my MP3 when away from home. The tiny size when you first receive it gave me doubts but ... the positive Amazon reviews proved accurate on this one. Great sound for a small to mid-size room.
The unique accordion pop-up design is both clever and I'm guessing to the suprising amount of bass this thing puts out.
My only wish is that the power timed out and turned off automatically after, say, 60 seconds of no sound as it's very easy to forget to power it off - especially if you're listening to music as you fall asleep and have your MP3 player set to automatic turn off.
But hey, it's rechargeable so worst case you can plug it into any USB port. I haven't tested recharge times yet but couldn't wait to give a 5 star reveiew just based on the sound. Another option: you can power it from an inexpensive USB wall adapter and never run out.
I'm tempted to get the stereo pair next time ...

Terrifically loud and high def. sound for such a small device. The charge lasts a long time. I find the wires a bit of a hassle to deal with when transporting. The only real negative to the device is the sound it makes when it's fully charged- unrelenting and really annoying. I've had two of these speakers. On the first set, one speaker wouldn't work. On the second set, one connector cord didn't work. They're cute little speakers, and I like the size, but...do I take ANOTHER chance on another new set? It's about the same price to buy a new connector cord as it is to buy another complete set...but, if I buy another new set will I finally get speakers/cords that work? Or, would another type of speaker be a better purchase? I wrote to Ihome about the problems and got no response.
