Digital camera Review: Cooling of the lap.

If your lap top is heating your legs a bit more than is comfortable give this product a try. It really works well. It also puts my lap top at a great angle on my desk. I would recomend one of those sticky pads they sell at the office supply stores. Cut it into small sections and it will stop the computer from sliding. I ordered this product after reading the reviews on Amazon and elsewhere on how useful it was for cooling a computer (MacBook Pro) but when it arrived I was disappointed at the overall quality of it considering the high cost of it. For one thing the aluminum that it is made of is a very thin gauge and bends very easily. I would think it would get easily damaged if taking it on a trip or even during normal use. There are no indentations for the small feet that are on the MacBook which if there were would allow more induction cooling to occur. For the money I think that a much better cooling tray is the Cooler Master.Digital camera Review: Does what it states

I have had this stand for about 2 weeks now. It has done the job for keeping my laptop cooler and keeping my legs from burning up!! The leg on the back swivals back and forth if you need it to. The front padding slides on and off it you want it to. I guess you could apply some velcro if you wanted to it to stay in place better. As it is now you can slide it off when/if not needed. It also can rotate around to the bottom if you want it to sit level or roll it to the front for an arm pad and a sloped down affect. I have it sloped down for when I am typing and rolled under for a flat laying movie playing laptop. It works great for my 15" MacBook Pro!!Digital camera Review: Excellent, highly recommended!!!

I had one of these for an older Dell and ordered this one specifically for a 15" Macbook Pro and couldn't be happier. It makes using the laptop at my desk or in the bed much easier. Heat is no longer a problem and with the silicon stickies the laptop doesn't move on this thing. Highly Recommended.
