If you have an iPhone and have USB ports in multiple places like home, work, your car, etc, then just get a bunch of these, and you'll never need to worry about carrying a charger... I'm buying this for my iPod Touch, but my phone has a mini-USB port (a very cheap, generic part) and I'm incredibly happy with my decision to buy about five mini-USB-to-USB cables and station them everywhere I might potentially need one. It's great for peace of mind, and I'd suggest it as a strategy to any smartphone user.
For this particular part: I got this back in July to replace the ratty old cable that had come with my iPod originally. It's superior in basically every way. I don't have much else to say than that. This is a cable priced cheaply, but it works 100% fine, and the spooling action is great for travel. I've had no problems in the half-year since I bought mine, and I'm actually here to buy another one so that I can keep one at home and keep one in my laptop bag.
