This will protect your device from lifes little accidents--scratches, smudging etc. It's a little inconvenient to put on but when it's in place your Ipod is safe. It's a pain if you use a charging dock because you have to take this off so I've deducted one star for that. After owning an iPod Nano and not buying a protective straight away, I saw how quickly the iPod's sleek surface and screen can scratch. I bought the iSkin after going through numerous reviews for iPod covers. I settled on the iSkin and have been extremely satisfied. The iSkin looks great and feels good in my hand. The only very minor complaint is that it's a little difficult to slide the lock switch at the top. It sometimes takes a little more effort to move the switch, but isn't really all that inconvenient. One really nice feature is that the click wheel is actually protected/covered, providing complete protection. Buyers beware. If you are using any sort of aftermarket ear/headphones you will have to "mod" or cut your brand new iskin case. There is a recessed area around the headphone jack of the case that won't allow almost all aftermarket headphones to seat correctly. With an X-acto knife you can trim away the area around the jack...not really what I wanted to be doing but it worked okay.Digital camera Review: The best protection for your ipod!

I bought this case in October for my brand new ipod and after 3 months of use, I am completely satisfied with the iSkin. I was worried that my screen was going to become scratched like my old ipod, but the hard plastic on the front completely prevents that from happening. Also, the click wheel is covered by a thin layer of silicone which keeps it from getting worn out or damaged.
The problem I have encountered with this case is that it comes with a belt clip already attached (but I found that everyone has this complaint). When I got my iSkin, I quickly removed the clip to see if it was a problem. If you leave the back part of the clip on, there are 2 small plastic bumps that prevent your ipod from laying down flat on a surface. If you completely remove the clip, there are 2 tiny holes that could trap dirt or scratch your ipod. I left the back part of the clip on so that there is still part of the clip on, but I would rather have this than have part of my ipod exposed. My only other complaint is that the hold button is also covered by the silicone, and the repetitive use has started to tear a barely noticeable hole on the side of the button where you have to slide it over.
After looking at all of the ipod cases on this and other websites, the iSkin was the first that I considered purchasing. I wanted one that would fully protect my ipod and would last a very long time (unlike my old case for my ipod mini). This case has exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier! I suggest this case to anyone that wants to completely protect their ipod and wants to keep it looking brand new forever!

I had researched a lot of cases before deciding on this one. I have had it for several months now and it has held up great, protects my ipod.
I don't use the belt clip, so can't offer any input there. The only slightly annoying thing to me is the cover over the hold button; it makes switching it a little difficult, but you can just it cut out. The protective screen did get a small scratch on it when I dropped my ipod, but rather that then the actual screen. I haven't had much of a lint problem, but it is very easy to remove.
Otherwise I have absolutely no complaints, it keeps my ipod looking new and scratch free. Very durable.
