Digital camera reviews of iriver AFT 100 Mobile FM Transmitter

Digital camera Review: Actually works!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have recently purchased a truck without a cassette player so my old cassette adaptor was useless. I purchased a belkin tunecast FM transmitter mainly because it was the cheapest one in the store. Well that was $20 down the drain! It only had 4 channels and had so much static that I had to throw it away. I looked into other alternatives such as replacing the OEM radio with one that had an aux jack, installing a FM modulator, installing an external aux jack, buying an ipod. None made sense until i looked into the AFT 100. I've had this for about a week now and it is a 100% improvement. Music comes in clear and there are many channels to choose from. The auto on and auto shut off works great. I no longer have to mess with the fm tranmitter, I just turn my Mp3 player on and go. Defintely recommended!

Digital camera Review: Affordable and good quality FM Transmitter
Summary: 4 Stars

This FM transmitter is easy to work with. Sound quality is also good. It does give some distortion when local FM signal is too strong. So select FM frequency with weak local signal. But over all a good product.

Digital camera Review: Aft 100
Summary: 5 Stars

I would recommend this product, it works great and when it gets a little static you just choose a different preset channel. It is great that i dont have to worry about batteries, and it has a nice colored face to it.

Digital camera Review: All I needed
Summary: 5 Stars

This works really well for me. I transitioned from an iPod to a Sansa, and of course, my iPod transmitter was only for iPods. Here are my pros and potential cons:

Pros:
-Plugs into headphone jack, so you can use it with any mp3 player
-Low price
-Works like it's supposed to- easy to use through the radio

Possible cons:
-Generally has good sound quality- it doesn't bother me that it's not perfect, I just needed it for highway driving
-My iPod transmitter charged my iPod as I drove. Just be aware that this one doesn't charge your device.
-When there's no music on, it automatically shuts off. My friend hooked up his Blackberry to it and used Pandora; if we drove thorugh a pocket of no service and Pandora stopped playing music, the transmitter shut off too. We'd have to unplug it/re-plug it in to start it back up.

Overall, for 16 dollars, I think this is a great product. It does exactly what I need it to, and it was much less expensive than my old iPod transmitter. I would definitely suggest it, but if you want something with perfect sound quality, maybe spend a little more. Does the job for me, though!

Digital camera Review: Almost excellent
Summary: 4 Stars

Product works great from a sound perspective. It's nice to have my music library in my car. Would be better if it had an off switch which released it from the car battery and the input of the player. Then you could leave it plugged into the lighter. Also some sort of universal cradle to hold your player would be nice. I use it with an Iriver H10 which has to sit in my coffee cup holder.
