Digital camera Review: As advertized, Been Great

Works great, no hum or hiss, completely masks any interference and sound quality is perfect, no perceptible difference. I've had it for almost a year with no problems. Added a mini-jack adapter for my pocket pc and have never looked back. It allows you to turn the volume down on the player and use the in-car system for amplification, saving your battery, but may lose signal if it's down too low. I love it, now if they would only come out with some mainstream flash media or hard-drive based car stereos. Until then, this is the piece to have for listening to mp3's without having to burn a bunch of cds.Digital camera Review: As good as can be expected

I have no problem finding a clear channel. Very occasionally there was static, but I was able to switch to another clear channel quickly with the preset buttons. I preset the car stereo for these three channels in FM2 so that the switching can be done easier and fast.
Only complaint is that there seems to be some loss in high end frequencies so the music is not as crisp. I checked the spec and found that the range is up to 15 Khz. Most stereo at least goes up to 20 KHz. However, I checked several FM transmitters, they all have range up to 15 KHz only.
Overall, I am happy with this purchase.
The following comment is an insertion after several months of use.
I tried to use this again after a few months of non-use. The unit will not work properly now. It shuts off itself for a few seconds every two minutes or so. It does that with music in full volume. Other people have complained about the same defect. This definitely is an inherent design defect problem. If I rated it again, it would be a 1 star only.

Just want to echo what others have said: This one works. The signal seems to be powerful enough to overcome relatively weak FM radio stations and you have the option of choosing any frequency with this product. The sound quality is good as well.
Buy this one and forget the rest.

I have tried several of the battery operated ones and been disappointed because they don't have enough power and the batteries go dead quick. Going with this plug in model has been FAR better! Good strong signal and it is very nice that you are not limited to certain channels, you can set it to any channel. The only problem I've had is that when I connect the mp3 player to a charger while the iRiver is running, I get a hum over the speakers. It may be because the charger is too close to the iRiver, though.

Es el primer objeto de estos que tengo. Lo he estado usando por un par de semanas en mi Creative Muvo TX FM y sinceramente esperaba que fuera mejor.
PROS:
- Bonito diseño.
- Toda la gama del FM, desde el 88.1 hasta el 107.9 (Pudo haber incluido las escasas 87.7 y 87.9 de la escala...)
- 3 estaciones memorizables.
- Mas ahorro en pilas que cuando se utiliza con el cassette adaptador (Tomando de base mi Creative Muvo TX FM)
CONTRAS:
- El número a usar debe estar COMPLETAMENTE LIBRE, sin interferencias de otras emisoras, ya que esas interferencias se escuchan cuando se escucha la música.
- La calidad del sonido no es tan buena. Se escucha igual que con un cassette adaptador.
Por ser algo basado en ondas de radio y no necesariamente por energía entre cabezales de cassette pensé que sería mejor que el adaptador. Creo que entre los 2, usaría mejor el adaptador de cassette, ya que el resultado es el mismo.
