Digital camera reviews of iriver AFT 100 Mobile FM TransmitterDigital camera Review: Automatic Turn Off Disappointing Summary: 3 Stars
If no signal is received, for a brief time, this unit turns itself off. It seems that you have to unplug it and reinsert in car adapter to get it to turn on again. Also if a radio signal is detected it loses contact with your MP3 player. Would be nice if a power off/on button was included.

I bought this product not knowing the dimensions, I thought that the product would be quite big like some of the other ones I have seen but it was small. When I tested it out I had to adjust some of the settings I had on the car stereo and the music came out perfect. For the price I recommend it to everyone who is looking for a transmitter.

It worked really great! The sound was really crisp once I found a good station which only took three tries. Excellent for a car, but I wish you could hook it up to a stereo. overall super product
Digital camera Review: Awesome FM Transmitter Summary: 5 Stars
This one is really quite good out of the few I have tried myself or heard in other people's cars. The only downside is the auto-off which is good and bad, its bad because if you get to a song that has low volume it automatically shuts off thinking their is no sound. It seems quite sturdy and small, unlike the Belkin which I ahve replaced through warranty twice.
Digital camera Review: Awesome Product!! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased the iRiver FM transmitter for my husband for christmas along with an mp3 player. This transmitter has, by far, exceeded our expectations. The reception is crystal clear and works on a variety of stations. We loved it so much that we decided we wanted an FM transmitter for in the house as well. We were disappointed to find that nothing even compared to the quality of the iRiver. The Belken Tuncast II is AWFUL!!! You can barely get any reception at all even with the transmitter right next to the stereo. I ended up purchasing the Vector Travel Mate 6.0 Amp AC/DC Converter and another iRiver so we could use it in the house. This weekend we hooked up the iRiver to our computer which is in the dining room. We were able to play the music from our computer to the stereo in the living room, and the stereo in our bedroom, and the clock radio in our spare room (all at the same time). So then, out of curiosity, we checked our car stereo (which was out in the driveway) and (drum roll please) it was able to pick up the reception from the iRiver that was in our dining room clear as a bell! Then we checked our stereo in the garage and it too was picking up the reception from the iRiver in our dining room, crystal clear (we're talkin NO STATIC!!!). I wanted to start knockin on our neighbors' doors to see if we could see if their stereos were picking up our transmitter too, but I figured they would just think I was weird, so we got in the car to see how far away from the house we could get and still pick up the reception. A little more than half a block away and it was still crystal clear. After that there was progressively more static until about 2 blocks away and then there was no more reception. Now we had been using empty stations that were just static, so when we got home I decided to see if the iRiver could transmit to one of our popular radio stations that has a very strong reception in our area and (you guessed it!) it cut the station out and played what was on our mp3 player. At this point we were still in the car and we checked the stereo in the garage and it too was picking up the mp3 player on the popular station, but with a little static. Now how fun would it be to be sitting at a stop light and the car next to you is blasting some song on the radio.. so you flip through the radio stations til you find the one they're listening to.. and tune your iRiver to that station.. and then play a bible study from your mp3 player... one minute the guy next to you is jammin to his favorite music.. the next minute he's listening to your favorite bible study.. Ha! Would that be wrong? :) Anyways, this is an awesome product. I don't see how anyone could be disappointed in it.
