Digital camera reviews of jWin JK-777 Nostalgic Stereo System with Turntable, CD Changer, Cassette Deck, and AM/FM Tuner

Digital camera Review: Don't WASTE your money
Summary: 1 Stars

As they say, you get what you pay for. Want to know why this is so inexpensive? Because it is a totally worthless record player, which will damage your precious vinyl and which moves at an irregular speed making your vinyl sound bad. If you don't care about the turntable, then the rest is JUST OKAY. If you want it only for a display piece, then I suppose it's nice looking. I would not recommend it, however.

Digital camera Review: Excellent Record Player
Summary: 5 Stars

Well, Feb 14th is my Dad's Birthday. He was also a big fan of vinyl records, so I decided to get him a record player. For those of you who grew up with cd's and dvd's, a record player plays records. I searched around, and found a great deal on the Jwin Record Player. I read the reviews, and everything sounded good. I got it in a few days later, and decided to test it out before giving it to him. I must say, I was quite impressed. The unit looks very nice and has an antique feel to it. It plays records, tapes, and cd's. I did find that you had to have all 3 cd's loaded in the changer for them to play, but that was no big deal. The sound coming from the record player brought back old memories of my childhood when my dad used to play them. If you are looking for a great gift for someone who has records, I highly reccomend the Jwin Record Player. I am planning on buying one for myself!

Digital camera Review: Fun - plays all media
Summary: 5 Stars

The unit has a pleasant look, plays all the media I need it to and sounds nice. Thank God it doesn't play eight tracks. A good buy.

Digital camera Review: Good value for the money
Summary: 4 Stars

I was skeptical of a system with only 5 watts and small "full range" speakers, but because of the good deal at Amazon and the good reviews, I took the plunge. All four media playback modes work well, and the sound is much better than expected. It has a very smooth, warm sound and the amplifier and speakers seem well-matched. The bass is not overwhelming, but is tight and well-defined. Highs are adequate without being harsh, and there is surprising stereo separation for a one-piece unit. There are no tone controls or changable EQ settings, but the factory setting seems fine for most kinds of music. The turntable is very basic and you might have more skipping or "skating" than with an expensive turntable, but it works fine for what it is. The only minor disappointment was that cassette recordings made on the unit of the radio, records and cd's were below average. However, the cassette playback of "store bought" recordings was excellent, and I didn't by this unit to record with anyway. This is an attractive, well-designed unit and a good value for the money.

Digital camera Review: Great deal for the price!
Summary: 4 Stars

I had looked everywhere for an affordable system like this. It works great and allows me to play all my old and new favorites. The sound is good for a small system and it looks great and fits in well with all my old stuff!
